Tina Chen
Tina is a strong advocate for a non-judgmental approach in forming and nurturing meaningful relationships. “We all carry shadows, but some have yet a chance to step into the light,” she says.
She aspires to be a relationship counselor and researcher, with a commitment to helping others connect authentically. Growing up across diverse regions—Southern China, New York City, and Maui—she’s had her worldview expanded in ways that make openness and acceptance second nature.
Tina earned her Bachelor’s in Human Development, along with a Mediation certification from Prescott College, where she discovered her love for counseling and the science of human connection. She’s particularly drawn to Humanistic and Transpersonal Psychology. “It’s easy to isolate yourself and handle everything alone,” she explains, “but there’s such richness in seeking help and having tough conversations that push us to grow. We need each other to understand, lean on and feel what it means to be cared for."
In her free time, Tina enjoys reading new-age books, writing songs, and immersing herself in fantasy games.
