Kory Calcao

Kory Calcao grew up in Miami, Florida, surrounded by an enriching mix of Spanish and French Islander cultures that shaped his deep appreciation for diversity and connection. Her earned his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Spanish from the University of Colorado Boulder, where he discovered his passion for understanding human behavior and the healing power of nature-based therapeutic practices. 

Kory’s professional journey has centered on helping others grow with empathy and understanding. He has worked as a behavioral technician supporting children with autism, an English instructor in Spain, and a children’s climbing instructor and guide in Colorado. Each role has strengthened his commitment to building trust, fostering emotional growth, and encouraging others to explore their full potential. 

Having lived in Spain for three years, Kory is near fluent in Spanish and brings a global perspective to his work. Outside of his professional life, Kory is an avid climber and skier who finds peace and clarity in the mountains; his personal slice of nirvana. His ethos centers on compassion, curiosity, and the belief that meaningful growth happens when we embrace challenge and connection, both in nature and in life.
