Dr. Emma McCourt
Dr. Emma McCourt is a Psychologist Candidate at Colorado Mental Health Network, bringing over 13 years of experience serving children, adolescents, and families in public education. Before transitioning into clinical practice, Dr. McCourt worked as a science teacher and later as a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) Coordinator, roles that shaped her systems-level understanding of student needs and school functioning. She now applies this expertise as a Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) and holds a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD), integrating evidence-based practice with a compassionate, practical approach.
Dr. McCourt is dedicated to helping clients build emotional resilience, strengthen coping skills, and feel empowered in their environments. Her background in schools allows her to collaborate effectively with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams, ensuring that care is comprehensive, strengths-based, and culturally responsive.
Outside of her clinical work, Dr. McCourt enjoys spending time outdoors, caring for her animals, and unwaveringly supporting the Buffalo Bills—despite their ongoing ability to break her heart. She brings warmth, humor, and commitment to every client relationship and strives to create a safe, welcoming space for growth.
