Andrew Harris
Andrew Harris is the owner and founder of the Colorado Mental Health Network, the only Black male-owned mental health clinic licensed by the Colorado Behavioral Health Administration. With over a decade of experience in the field, Andrew has worked in various settings, including youth corrections, child welfare, community corrections, and other mental health agencies.
Andrew utilizes evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to treat a wide range of patients. His patient-centered approach, combined with his expertise in these modalities, has helped numerous individuals achieve their mental health goals.
In addition to providing direct mental health services, Andrew is also an advocate for the underserved and is on a mission to address stigmas surrounding mental health in marginalized neighborhoods. He is passionate about using his expertise to create positive change in the community, and he actively seeks opportunities to educate and empower others.
Andrew is also a published author, having released his first novel, “Dr. Mind and the Biracial Misfit Part I,” in 2021. He has another children’s book, “Here Come the ‘Maybes,’” set for release in early 2023. Through his storytelling and creativity, Andrew plans to reach marginalized youth and promote the importance of mental health.
Andrew firmly believes in utilizing community networks to provide the best possible care for the Colorado communities he serves. He is dedicated to delivering exceptional mental health services to his clients, improving outcomes, and promoting awareness about the importance of mental health.
In addition to his extensive experience and accomplishments, Andrew Harris is also currently pursuing his Doctor of Psychology at the University of Colorado Denver. Through his academic pursuits, Andrew is expanding his knowledge and skillset, enabling him to provide the highest quality mental health services to his patients.

As he continues to advance his education, Andrew is poised to make an even greater impact in the mental health field, particularly in the Colorado communities he serves.
