Ameaka Grumbach
Ameaka is a master’s student in the Clinical Mental Health and School Counseling program at Colorado Christian University. Her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice with a concentration in Clinical Counseling provides her with a unique ability and perspective in working with misplaced and underserved populations. Ameaka is passionate about providing our youth, adolescents, and young adults with a “I can win at life attitude” and create positive change in their lives and the community. Ameaka is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for her students and clients to develop these skills and put them to use. My goal is to challenge the client to be the best version of themselves and effectively create beneficial life changes. Ameaka believes that listening empathetically to the client, providing them with the tools to problem solve and create a plan of action catered to their individual strengths is essential in the therapeutic process. Ameaka uses a person-centered approach that focuses on the individual and or family. She is a fan of Positive Psychology, Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Adlerian Therapy. Ameaka is passionate about using her own life experiences and education to collaborate, empower and embolden clients to achieve mental clarity, comprehensive growth, and control of their lives.
