Travel Therapy

Many of us are aware of the “Scared Straight” program and the designed disciplinary regime that follows. While the structure of this method may seem appealing to some, more often than not, this strategy does not detour our troubled youth. Unfortunately, this rigid methodology does not mean teens and young adults will refrain from criminal activity, or the possibility of ending up in the criminal justice system. Here at Colorado Mental Health Network, we are firm believers that inspiration and positive reinforcement go further with our troubled youth, and we work hard to provide various advantages to support this ideology. Each summer, CMHN is dedicated to providing a fulfilling exhibition somewhere around the world, for a small handful of novice teens and young adults. Those exhibiting determination and fulfillment towards a better life will be carefully selected to be a part of something enriching, to inspire the uninspired.
